ロンドンから西へ140キロ。温泉が出るので古代ローマ人が大浴場をを作った町として知られた都市。
ザ・サーカス（円形建物）やロイヤル　クレセント（三日月型建物）が有名で、リタイアしたリッチな人々が
住む町でもあるそうだ。
The city of Bath was established as a spa by the Romans in AD43.
They built baths and temple on the aurrounding hills of Bath.
